Summary
Front line application sales engineer focused on technical sales support, sales lead generation and general business development for the New England and Eastern NY territory and other select accounts as required. Responsibilities will include

- Sales lead generation.
- Product and application customer training.
- Territory and industry specific strategic planning and execution.
- Customer relations maintenance and development.
- Technical applications review.
- Lead in quotations preparation and assistance with preparation.
- Cost analysis, profit maximization.
- Vendor relations, cooperative vendor sales calls and training as needed and available.
- Monthly reporting, directly to Nooney Controls Director of Sales.
- Achieve the sales budget for a defined group of user customers.
- Drive regional, corporate account business strategies and new product introductions.
- Conduct in-plant and seminars to educate users in the use of our products and services.
- Represents the organization in providing solutions associated with the sale and marketing of our products.
- Previous performance must have demonstrated superior Conceptual, Technical, People, and Organizational Skills plus a Strong Work Ethic.
Training - Learn our products, applications, and the selection process, learn the valve industry and the industries we serve. That process will be accomplished by in-house, external training and on-the-job training.

Travel

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in industrial sales and/or management
Preferred Education and Experience
- BA, BS degree preferred.
