Bell Piney Flats Overhaul Team
Bring your experience and join the Bell Piney Flats Overhaul shop team. In this position you will be an integral part of the Overhaul shop team, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotorcraft components. You’ll work with peers, quality, and other team members to ensure items are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. In this role you’ll be able to showcase your previous experience and build new skills.
What you’ll be doing as an Overhaul Mechanic (Experienced)
+ Perform teardown and reassembly of components.
+ Media blast and clean parts.
+ Perform maintenance work on drivetrain components to Bell Manual standards.
+ Perform major overhauls and inspections.
+ Maintain compliance with FOD Policies and Repair Station Procedures.
+ Read and interpret Maintenance Manuals and applicable Component Repair & Overhaul material.
+ Demonstrate safe work habits and proper use of PPE.
+ Must work overtime as required.

What you need to be successful
+ 3 years of experience performing component overhaul tasks or experience as an aircraft mechanic, equivalent mechanical skills & experience.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ FAA Airframe or A&P Certificate preferred.
+ Previous experience with Bell helicopters preferred.
+ Must provide own basic hand tools required for the job.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
+ Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
+ Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
+ Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
+ Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
