Overnight Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) - Wentworth Senior Living

Wentworth Senior Living is searching for an enthusiastic RN or LPN to join our overnight team as a Charge Nurse!

Schedule: Our 12 hour shifts are structured as follows; 6:30 AM - 7PM or 6:30 PM - 7AM

• Available Shift: Friday 7p-7a

Hourly Rate: Starting at $38 per hour plus $4.00 shift differential on overnights or weekends

Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum

As the Charge Nurse, your responsibilities will include a few of the following key points:

• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positivity when working with residents and fellow team members
• Develop and oversee daily Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) assignments
• Act as a resource for direct care staff to ensure accountability and consistent performance.
• Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and the Director of Nursing to prioritize resident needs and facilitate teamwork.
• Complete required documentation and nurse’s notes while assessing and reporting any changes in resident status for best quality of care.
• Participate in required annual training programs

Requirements for the Charge Nurse role consist of:

• Active NH or Compact State RN or LPN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in a senior services setting preferred.
