About the Program: The Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership Program is a 24-month structured development experience located at an Owens Corning North America manufacturing facility. Participants will be mentored by experienced EHS Leaders, Specialists and engineers to receive experiential and formation training to include the following:
Management systems understanding & implementation
Procedure & policy development and implementation
Training & development and delivery
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Regulatory process
Project management
People Leadership influence- Operation Shift leader rotation
Manufacturing process knowledge
Program Outcome: Upon completion, participants will be placed in a full-time assignment as a EHS Leader and/ or EHS lead at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant.
What We're Looking For: An enthusiastic candidate who takes initiative, drives results, and creatively navigates tasks. The ideal candidate demonstrates a desire to develop technical and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred bachelor's degree in environmental health & Safety Management, Chemical engineering or an equivalent field
Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead projects and development project plans
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided) during or upon completion of the program
LOCATION OF ASSIGNMENT:
Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
