Local insurance company in the Morgan City area is searching for an experienced, P&C licensed insurance agent!
Job Responsibilities:
- Offering auto, home, toys and small commercial insurance to existing and prospective customers.
- Providing outstanding customer service by renewing, quoting and writing new policies as well as servicing existing policies, including taking premium payments.
Job Requirements:
- P&C Insurance License required; or equiv. experience and immediate licensing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years customer service experience in an office with outstanding performance.
- 3 years experience successfully handling money (taking payments, balancing, etc.). Bank teller experience is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing abilities.
