About the Job
In the Family Enrichment Center (FEC), substitute teachers will work on an "as needed" basis, and will assume the responsibilities and duties of teachers or master teachers. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe and stimulating educational environment, following the classrooms' daily schedule, implementing lesson plans, responding to children's individual needs, record keeping, and housekeeping duties. They will also model, guide and oversee teaching assistants and students, as well as communicate daily with parents.
This is an "on call" position and does not guarantee regular hours.
