We have Contract role for Financial Counselor/Insurance Verification for our client Philadelphia, PA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Financial Counselor/Insurance Verification- Philadelphia, PA
Location                            : Philadelphia, PA 19140 (Onsite)
Project Duration           : 3 Month
Pay Rate                            : $19/hr on W2
 
Position will be based out of 1331 E. Wyoming Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124 or possibly TUH Main Campus but not likely
 
Job Summary
This is a financial counseling position, but they will mainly be doing insurance verification.
Provides financial, credit, debt management counseling, and education services to patients. Utilizes alternative means for obtaining coverage for uninsured or underinsured patients. Responsible for performing complex insurance verification and eligibility determinations as well as varied administrative and highly responsible clerical functions of a sensitive nature, including complex investigative and problem-solving activities in support of minimizing the hospital's bad debt risk.
 
The manager is looking for someone who is flexible and willing to participate in any projects where we may need their assistance
 
Requirements

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Experience 2 Years’ experience as a financial counselor or related role in a healthcare environment (Required)
• 5 Years’ experience in a clerical role (Required)
• General Experience and knowledge of hospital registration and third party billing and regulations. (Required)
• General Experience in bi-lingual Spanish and English communication (Preferred)
• Insurance verification and registration experience (Hospital)
