Package Handler - Leverify LLC

We are looking for a dependable Package Handler to join our logistics team. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages of various sizes and weights. The ideal candidate should have the physical stamina to lift heavy packages, work in a fast-paced environment, and pay attention to detail to ensure packages are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload packages from trucks, trailers, or containers manually or using material handling equipment.
• Sort and organize packages by size, weight, or destination, ensuring accuracy.
• Scan packages using handheld devices for tracking and inventory purposes.
• Label packages as needed, ensuring proper documentation and identification for shipping or receiving.
• Safely handle fragile or high-value items, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement.
• Assist with packing and preparing items for shipping, ensuring they meet the company’s standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate package processing.
   

Qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or package handling role is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners or warehouse management systems are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
