PPR produces specialty piston and sealing rings for the aerospace market which can be found on legacy and new production aircraft across the commercial, general aviation, and military end markets.

Fulltime 1^st Shift - OT as required.

Summary:

The Packaging & Shipping Operator will play a crucial role in the production process by efficiently assembling components sourced from inventory and meticulously packaging them in accordance with the specific packaging guidelines provided by customers. This role demands someone that has an attention for detail to ensure the accurate and precise assembly of components while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components from stock according to provided work instructions and packaging specifications.
• Verify the accuracy of selected components and count the correct quantity of parts for packaging purposes.
• Box packaged product in preparation to ship – ensuring accurate counting of product being boxed.
• Initiate paperwork for quality to sign off on the product (packing slip, certificate of conformance, etc.).
• Create labels for shipment of products through websites such as Fedex.com or through customer portals.
• Maintain focus and stay on task throughout the packaging process to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need replenishment.
• Participate in quality control processes to uphold standards of product packaging and presentation.
• Comply with safety and OSHA regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
