Job Description
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Imaging or related field. Relevant work experience as hospital based PACs admin acceptable in lieu of a degree
Preferred: Three years’ experience as a Radiology Technician in multiple modalities and PACS experience. Application support experience in a hospital environment necessary.
Essential Functions:
Provides day to day PACS operations management. 50%
Co-ordinates interface between the PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition systems. 30%
Reporting - Provides management and statistical reporting, including ad hoc report development. 10%

Skills & Abilities: Customer service management, project management, understanding of Microsoft networking computing environment, strong written and verbal communications, ability to liaise with entity with end users, IS staff and managers as well as vendor personnel and management.

Duties:
• User Provisioning
• Daily PACS Maintenance - checking or orders with no images, studies stuck in dictated status rather than finalized, anything cancelled with images, anomalies
• Assist with QC/QA within PACS for CT, CR, NM, MG, and Breast US
• Daily Powerscribe Maintenance – check for reports in temporary status; associate reports as needed
• RightFax – resend studies that failed to successfully fax; place tickets for physician contact information discrepancies
• CVIS – delete studies, research when reports don’t cross and re-send them, fix when tech attaches study to wrong accession number; assist with burning CD’s
• Assist with MUSE – troubleshooting/upgrades
• Account relocations per request of Data Integrity
• Work with Revenue Integrity Analysts as needed to verify charges
• Duplicate account merges within PACS
• Peer Review Reports
• Ambra training and support
• New equipment coordination/connectivity
• Monitor maintenance/monthly checks for Dicom compliance, yearly calibration; new monitor install as needed; troubleshoot image quality issues
• Radiologist and Cardiologist workstation maintenance
• Care Connect/PACS Integration setup
• Assist with Hologic Workstation Q/R set up as needed
• TeraRecon support and troubleshooting as needed
• New procedure Radiant testing/charge validation
Other:
• Desktop Support - Provides timely customer assistance for physician & radiology department support requests. Responds to customer requests for technical support for customers' computer systems and applications at applicable work-sites. Accurately log all/update customer interactions in the ITS ticketing system. Independently identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, documents, and replicates customer problems applying technical solutions or workarounds; escalate complex issues in accordance with documented escalation procedures, if unable to resolve. Use ConnectIT Knowledge Base to resolve incidents.
• Customer Relationship Management - Demonstrates exceptional customer service by seeking opportunities to give educational feedback while assisting customers. Build and maintain key customer relationships with customers through timely and effective resolution.
• Planning and Administration – Performs administrative duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Exposure to Epic Radiant and Cupid
Onsite 5 days a week
