MCD Partners, a member of M&C Saatchi Worldwide, is looking for a Paid Media Strategist with strong mathematical and analytical skills to join our team. This role focuses on managing, optimizing, and analyzing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms. Location: Mainly remote with a preference for Chicago based candidates.
What you'll do:
- Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Google and Programmatic to drive engagement and conversions.
- Execute, monitor, and report on paid media campaigns (PPC, display, programmatic) across search engines, social media, and display networks.
- Perform keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing to optimize ad copy, creative, and bidding strategies.
- Utilize analytical skills and tools such as Google Sheets or Excel to track campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor campaign performance against KPIs.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on campaign metrics such as cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization across paid social, SEO, and paid media channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, marketing, and strategy) to ensure seamless campaign execution and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices in paid social, SEO, and paid media to ensure campaigns are performing at their peak.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns
- Strong understanding of paid media channels including SEM, PPC, and display advertising.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) to drive insights and improve performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint Certifications
- Familiarity with demand-side platforms (DSPs) like The Trade Desk or Google DV360.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI to create advanced reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience with A/B Testing Tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize for running tests and improving conversion rates.
- Strong Understanding of Google Tag Manager (GTM). Experience implementing and managing advanced event and conversion tracking.
- Experience in Influencer Marketing or Affiliate Marketing

What you'll get:
We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive employer-subsidized benefits package which includes group medical, dental and vision coverage, medical savings accounts, a 401k retirement plan with annual company match, commuter benefits, generous paid time off, discretionary annual bonus, and disability and life insurance policies. Salary is commensurate to experience in the range of $66,000-$72,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
