Paint Line Operator - 1st - HSM Solutions

Overview:

HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Paint Line operator Loader and Unloader position at our Metal Plant in Hickory, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Parts are brought to the line by forklift driver,
• Take parts out of bin, container or rack and are hung on the line.
• Empty container and then remove from paint line by forklift.
• Continue same process until the end of the shift.
• Attach labels as directed by Forklift Operator, Lead Person, or Supervisor.
• Place rack, bin, box, etc. in area for collection of parts. Some containers may be placed by forklift.
• Remove product from paint line.
• Put material in rack, bundle, or bin.
• Some parts require the operator to place metal banding around the part to secure to be moved out for shipment.
• Maintain safe work environment.
• Tag and label finished products.

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent attendance and work record.
• Must be able to write well.
• Must be able to count and do simple math.
• Lifting 25 to 35 lbs may be required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production line.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform other duties as deemed by management.
