As a Paint & Stain Associate at Mountain Hardware and Sports, you'll stay active helping customers with their paint and stain projects. From answering questions to expertly mixing and matching colors, you’ll be trained in paint mixing and various application techniques. The paint and stain department is always busy, creating a vibrant customer-focused environment. If you have experience in paint, stain, customer service, or retail, this position could be a great fit.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with paint and stain product selection and recommendations
- Promote and sell paint, stain, and related project items, offering expert advice and in-store demonstrations
- Use computer programs to mix and match paint or stain, ensuring accurate results
- Stock and organize the Paint & Stain department while maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Handle special orders, assist with loading/unloading, and answer phone inquiries
- Lift up to 56 lbs, climb ladders, and stay active throughout the day
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Paint & Stain general knowledge preferred OR desire to learn
- Customer service experience
- Ability to distinguish colors for mixing and matching
- Ability to work full time including 1 or more weekend days each week. Part time considered for applicants with paint experience
- Ability to decipher color(s)
Experience
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Paint and Stain Experience: 1 year (preferred)
