Pali Mountain is seeking a dynamic fast paced Director of Sales and Marketing for our quickly growing Summer Camp, Outdoor School and Conference Center facilities. Our programs offer best-in-class experiences to over 50,000 children and 10,000 adults annually.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will plan and direct marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiative. The intention is to lead departmental initiatives to develop goals and new strategic plans to cultivate a high performing department. This role will oversee the sales and marketing team, sales plans, and marketing strategies to achieve sales and brand goals.
Department Details:
As a result of our growth, we are looking for a candidate that can achieve the following:
- Expertly supervise and motivate our strong on-site sales team as well as maintain and upgrade all e-mail campaigns, PPC programs and paid social listings.
- Be a power user in Sales Force and Hub Spot.
- Sell and market for our existing site as well as our brand-new Acton and potential Glendale locations.
- Effectively update existing product pricing and compensation plans.
- Meet revenue goals that is currently in excess of $25 million and support future revenue goals to exceed $60 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing:
- Ensure alignment of campaign strategies with goals, messaging, and tactics.
- Develop and execute advertising plans including Google Ad Words, Facebook and Bing.
- Facilitate the company email drip, one-off and custom campaigns.
- Lead the development and implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies in all sales, events, and marketing channels to achieve Pali's goals and increase target market share performance.
- Coordinate with departments on social media posts.
- Analytics and Strategy:
- Utilize analytics to design and implement innovative strategies that enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to make data-driven adjustments and optimizations.
- Have a strong understanding of the market and plan projects accordingly.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all competitors and market activity.
- Staff:
- Mentor sales staff to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to be successful.
- Supervise the recruiting and training of staff members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and support to staff.
- Research and Innovation:
- Conduct research on emerging media strategies, platforms, and channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate new strategies into current and future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Workplace: On Site, Running Springs, CA. No remote work will be considered.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, advertising, business, or a related field is desired.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of managing sales staff.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in media planning and advertising.
- Experience in hospitality or similar fields preferred.
- Skills:
- Extensive sales team management experience.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools and media planning software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
Reports To:
- President/Owner/Chief Operating Officer
Salary Range:
$130,000 to $160,000/annually + Bonus up to 25%
- Bonus based on meeting/exceeding budget, maximizing calendar utilization and coordination with Operations to make sure we are under promising and over delivering on our experiences.
