Palliative Care Physician - Inpatient - Tanner Health System

Tanner Health is seeking a board eligible/board certified Palliative Medicine physician to expand our current inpatient palliative care service line. This hospital employed position will be part of Tanner Medical Group, a multi-specialty ambulatory division, of the health system, and will be based in Carrollton, Georgia.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Join an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time licensed practical nurse, and a full-time licensed social worker.
• Must demonstrate a proven ability to build collaborative relationships and provide education to colleagues, patients, and family members by possessing exceptional communication skills.
• Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred.

Job Eligibility Requirements:

Education

• Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship
• Current GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (5 days/40 hours per week).
