We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our Antitrust team in the Legal industry. This is a dynamic role that will involve working closely with our legal team, providing comprehensive paralegal support to ensure smooth case progression and successful legal outcomes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in legal research and assisting with case chronologies in the field of Antitrust law. This role offers an opportunity for the candidate to further their career in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles related to Antitrust law.
2. Assist with case chronologies, ensuring all case details are accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized.
3. Provide paralegal support to lawyers during trials, including preparing trial binders and exhibits.
4. Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and briefs, ensuring all documents comply with court rules and procedures.
5. Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.
6. Assist with the review, categorization, and organization of large volumes of documents during discovery.
7. Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, witnesses, and other law firms.
8. Manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
9. Stay updated on current developments in Antitrust law and related legal fields.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; paralegal certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in Antitrust law.
3. Proficient in legal research and familiar with legal databases and research tools.
4. Experience in assisting with case chronologies.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Familiarity with the rules of court procedures and evidence.
10. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and quickly under pressure.
