About the Job
Key Staffing is seeking a Paralegal Assistant! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
Open and close office daily
Greet clients and manage multi-phone lines
Draft various legal documents including declaration forms, formal discovery, notices, and motions
Prepare attorneys for weekly client appointments
Occasional delivery of documents to and from the court (within 2 miles)
Utilize tech-savvy skills to navigate relevant software and platforms
Provide excellent customer service with empathy towards client needs
Prioritize workload effectively and understand the legal process
Conduct legal research as required
Uphold high standards of quality work and attention to detail
Collaborate effectively with team members
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Record and store client information
Soft Skills:
Strong grasp of grammar and attention to detail
Honesty and integrity in all aspects of work
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Team player with excellent communication skills
Requirements:
Previous experience in a legal or family law setting preferred
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred but not required
Familiarity with programs such as Clio, Clio Draft, and the CEB Website is advantageous
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desire to grow within the company and contribute to a family-oriented culture
