POSITION SUMMARY:The Paralegal assists in preparing, reviewing, and summarizing legal documents and contracts, along with handling complex matters assigned by attorneys. This role involves answering, screening, and returning phone calls and emails from opposing counsel, defendants, insurance companies, other City employees, and the public. Additional responsibilities include preparing and updating documents, maintaining files, managing court calendars, and performing tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and note-taking. The Paralegal may also attend and assist in court sessions, and could be required to travel for special court proceedings, meetings, or training. This position works under the direct supervision of the Litigation Attorney.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $27.49 perhour and will increase to$28.59per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall.This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
