Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate
We are currently seeking candidates for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a global asset management company based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, ideally from a real estate law firm or in-house legal team within a real estate department.
This is a 5–6-month contract assignment paying $40- $50/hour depending on experience.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a global asset management company based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, ideally from a real estate law firm or in-house legal team within a real estate department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review legal contracts and approvals
- Assist with lease abstracting processes
- Track ownership changes within the real estate portfolio
- Draft form letter agreements (e.g., notice letters, amendments, SNDAs, estoppels)
- Review title insurance policies and land surveys
- Manage and update Terms & Conditions for investment, real estate, and vendor contracts in the database
- Review annual reports, update governing documents, and prepare tax forms
- Audit construction project change orders for legal compliance
- Monitor document deadlines, updating and communicating critical dates for legal tasks
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding legal document status
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
- 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate real estate legal team
- Familiarity with real estate management or development legal documents
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with iManage and Adobe Acrobat preferred
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage frequent interruptions
- Excellent organizational, detail orientation, and follow-through skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
