Paralegal
Our client is a highly respected law firm in Sacramento known for providing exceptional legal services across a variety of practice areas. The firm is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to advance their career in a collaborative and dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in managing a caseload, including document preparation, case file organization, and communication with clients.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and gather case-related information, ensuring all relevant details are thoroughly compiled and organized.
- Assist in preparing cases for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, including coordinating witness preparation and organizing exhibits.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and deadlines are met.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably within a litigation-focused law firm.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, California area.
- Strong proficiency in legal research, document drafting, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
