Paralegal - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is hiring a Paralegal to join a well-established organization located in Greensboro, NC. This role will be on a hybrid scheduled onsite 2-3 days a week/

Responsibilities of the Paralegal:

·       Draft and modify vendor contracts, compliance with state/federal laws and regulations including confidentiality agreements, employee agreements, and independent contractor agreements

·       Reviewing monthly status reports, litigation memos, and assisting outside counsel with collecting company documents in response to discovery requests

·       Maintain legal billing database, review bills to ensure compliance with legal billing guidelines, and communication with external vendors and law firms as necessary

·       Coordinate compliance with central legal department filing systems among staff and attorneys

·       Ensure compliance to corporate records retention policies are maintained

·       Support the preparation of monthly presentations to officers and other periodic internal and external presentations

Requirements of the Paralegal:

·       4+ years of previous Paralegal experience

·       Thorough understanding of the Microsoft Suite 

·       Prior experience working in a regulated environment

·       Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation for the Paralegal: 

·       Salary Range: $25/hour - $30/hour depending on professional experience
