Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr

Position Overview:

The Paralegal will support attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management. The successful Paralegal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities of the Paralegal:

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery documents, and briefs
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to arrange interviews, gather information, and provide updates on case status
Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimonies
File documents with courts and administrative agencies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal procedures and regulations
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining calendars

Qualifications for the Paralegal:

At least 1 year of prior litigation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong academic record

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred
