Timoney Knox LLP, a well-regarded law firm located in Montgomery County, PA, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join our dynamic team. In this role, the successful candidate will take on the general responsibility for all aspects of the administration of estates and trusts. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with clients and colleagues regularly.

Responsibilities:

As a Trusts, Estates, and Corporate Paralegal, your duties will include identifying estate assets, performing probate functions, and independently administering estates. You will maintain appropriate financial records necessary for preparing tax returns and fiduciary accountings, and assist with the preparation, review, and filing of income tax, inheritance, and estate tax returns. Additionally, you will prepare fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts, as well as Receipt and Release Agreements, Schedules of Distribution, and related documentation for the informal settlement of estates and trusts.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the administration of Estates and an aptitude for complex financial matters. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, as well as familiarity with Lackner software and CCH ProSystem fx Tax software. Experience with corporate and real estate matters, as well as the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, estates, and trusts, is a plus.
