·The ED Paramedic assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within his/her scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.

Education:

·High School Diploma, or equivalent

·Completion of basic arrhythmia course

Licensure/Certification:

·Current EMT or Paramedic certification

·BLS Required

·Minimum 1-year experience in acute hospital or ambulance setting

·Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful
