* AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification

* ITLS / PHTLS
Job Functions
Under the direction of the area leadership, the purpose of this position is performing as a Paramedic in a mobile setting
Employees in this classification perform highly skilled, technical level work
Position is responsible for providing emergency medical services
The position provides medical services, including response, assessment, treatment as authorized by SMOs, and transport
The employee must follow all policies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures
Performs related duties as assigned.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Requires the ability to use computer software for operational and clinical tasks.
* Requires the ability to process information and complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Physical Ability: tasks involve the ability to exert very heavy physical effort in very heavy work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of heavy objects and materials.
Scheduling: 24-hour rotating schedule.
Environmental Factors: tasks may risk exposure to extreme heat/cold or extreme weather conditions, strong odors and/or smoke, strong and/or toxic chemicals, and dust or pollen.
The process consists of a leadership interview board
Candidates given a conditional offer of employment
Certification-appropriate system entrance skills/written testing will be required for out of system applicants.
