Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide

LOCATION: Nassau & Suffolk School Districts

Health Source Group- a trusted pioneer of healthcare consulting and staffing- currently seeks compassionate, qualified and committed Paraprofessional/Teacher's Assistant

Note: Candidate must be dedicated to working with children with special needs. Experience working with children with special needs/disabilities is a plus!

DAILY SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of common childhood illness, rashes and communicable diseases and disorders common to youth.
• Ability to problem solve and work independently and positively with staff, faculty and students.
• Assist student with toileting needs*

COMPENSATION

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (candidates must provide all documents)

• Updated Resume
• 2 Forms of I.D. (Driver's License & SS Card or Passport)
• Physical (Must have been completed within 1 one-year)
• PPD (Must have been completed within one-year)
• Immunizations: Titers (Measles, Mumps, Rubella + Varicella)
• In order to work within a school setting, it is mandatory for all employees to be fingerprinted and cleared by the New York State Department of Education. *Candidates must be willing to get fingerprinted immediately*
