About this role
As a Parenting Counselor, you will work under the direct supervision of the Director of The Family Support Unit. Completes risk and safety assessments, progress notes, service plans, quarterly reports, discharge reports and all other program required documentation clearly, accurately, and within required timeframes. Providing clinical, behavioral, psycho educational treatment modalities based on the assessment of motivational and psychosocial issues, which may include family and group therapies, supervised visitation that focuses on the empowerment of families and the development of skills to utilize during familial interactions.
Does the following apply to you?
- Associate’s Degree in a related field AND a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with children and families
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or related field
- Valid PA driver’s license and a good driving record
- Willing and able to travel across the community and to client homes
