The right Park Informational Ambassador checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.
The Information Ambassador position is responsible for proactively assisting guests with information and recommendations for their day. This position is designated to have a high focus on positive guest interactions including, but not limited to, answering questions, being welcoming, exuding a positive countenance and demonstrating an overall enthusiastic demeanor.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Attend the morning PIC meeting; then, hold a brief meeting with other Information Ambassadors to discuss assignments and park updates for the day
- Assist ushers and PIC to ensure show times are posted accurately each day. If a show is cancelled for any reason, be on hand to assist guests by providing proper information
- Assist in crowd control and ensure guests are given proper attention and help with questions
- Communicate with the PIC for the day regarding Entertainment needs
- Initiate friendly interaction with guests
- Inform guests of park events and areas of interest
- Answer questions from guests
- Be knowledgeable of locations on park, services available, restaurant menus, show schedules, special event happenings
- Maintain a friendly and cooperative attitude toward guests and co-workers

Education and Experience Required
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent verbal communicator – consistent and detailed
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check

- Able to push and/or pull
- Ability to work with and tolerate detergents and chemicals utilized in the area
- Able to wear all PPE as required
- Ability to climb steps
