Tests Technician

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Test Technician in Simi Valley, CA.

Responsibilities:

·The Product Test Technician, completes work according to instructions, specifications and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery

·Sets up test equipment and tests per specification

·Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level

·Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering

·Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures

·Assists other departments with tasks in other production cells/locations

·Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules

·Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Requirements:

·2 years Production Testing experience

·Skilled in the use of test equipment, hand tools, power tools and electric soldering

·Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions

·Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma

Location: Simi Valley, CA 93063

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $23.00 – 24.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule: 4/10; 1^st shift (6:30am - 3:00pm)

Length of Assignment: Contract
