Salary Range: $17.00 per hour

Basic Function – Collect parking revenue from parking meters and pay stations from assigned collection routes, report any meter malfunctions, and any other safety related items.
Responsibilities:
- Collect parking revenue from all assigned parking meters and pay stations utilizing specialized keys and canisters to properly secure and deposit the monies retrieved
- Report any and all meter malfunctions through the provided reporting device during the collection process
- Use and comprehend assigned collection route maps to efficiently collect all parking revenue from the parking meters and pay stations
- Securely load and unload specialized canister vaults used during the revenue collection process
- Work outside to perform duties, regardless of weather conditions (e.g. rainy, hot, humid, snowy, etc.)
Qualifications:
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire
- Knowledge of geography of the area where revenue will be collected
- Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to use a hand-held android based reporting device
- Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be safety conscious at all times, as employees will be expected to work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, holidays and/or week-ends may be required.
License Requirement: The individual will only be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and listen. The employee is required to work outside in varying and harsh weather conditions (cold, rainy, snowy, harsh, hot, humid).
