Position: Parking Supervisor
Reports To: Parking Manager
Position Overview: The Parking Supervisor will be responsible for providing a First-Class Guest Service interaction with each customer. This position will manage the efficient ingress and egress of assigned parking operations surrounding State Farm Stadium. Supervisors will support the Team Leads, the Parking Cashiers, Parking Lot Attendants and ADA Shuttle operations with effectively assisting guests. Supervisors will be there to support in points of contact to resolve any guest concerns and provide a positive environment for all. Supervisors will also assist in overseeing the movement of directional signage, interior lot equipment and exterior lot equipment to enhance the experience. The Parking Supervisor is a key position to our parking operations and event experience.
Essential Job Functions: The Parking Supervisor is responsible for providing all necessary information and equipment to Team Leads that is required for a successful event. The Supervisor is able to motivate staff to provide the highest level of service is a key to this position. The Supervisor will communicate any traffic plan changes or guest concerns accordingly. The Supervisor will constantly monitor the traffic flow to communicate or make adjustments. If additional equipment or staffing is needed, Supervisors will coordinate with the City of Glendale Traffic, City of Glendale Police and/or Manager of Parking Services. The Supervisor will verify everything is set up or removed around the property which will include barricades, signs, cones or other equipment in compliance with the traffic management program.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled.
- Preferred 5+ years supervisory experience within a parking organization or customer service driven operation. High emphasis on leading and supervising team members.
- Ability to follow direction of the Parking Manage and take charge of an area with the confidence to make adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
- Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check and math assessment involving all US monetary units
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to convey instructions of information to all levels both orally and in writing.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to ten (10) hours in length
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outside in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
