Part-time Accounting Clerk - LaborMAX Staffing

Part-time Accounting Clerk positions available now. Part-time Accounting Clerk Position Summary: Responsible for processing Sierra invoices, including receiving invoices, collecting packing slips, coding, obtaining approvals and sending approved invoices to Accounts Payable (AP) for payment. Responsibilities: Works safely and actively promotes safety-first working environment. Open emails from Accounts Payable requesting invoice coding, invoice approval, invoice support. Scans non-Purchase Order (PO) invoices along with packing slips;follows up with vendor when a packing slip is not submitted. Lists General Ledger (G L) coding on all non-PO invoices. Scans and forwards packing slips with POs to AP. Distributes invoices electronically to appropriate managers for approval. Files all invoices and packing slips electronically. Forwards approved invoices to AP for processing and payment. Maintains an excel spreadsheet with the status of each item in the AP process. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in accounting preferred. 1-2 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Strong time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. High degree of attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as professional and courteous attitude. Ability to organize projects, accomplish tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information. Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills. Weekly Pay!
