About the Job
Lehigh Country Club, located in Allentown, PA is looking for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk. This individual will be part of the accounting team and oversee all aspects of accounts payable.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming vendor invoices
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements
- Monitor and reconcile club credit card statements
- Assist with monthly inventories and track inventory pricing
- A/P check disbursements via paper check and ACH
Skills
- Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus
- Previous experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Jonas Encore a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule:
This position offers flexible hours, approximately 25 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
