About the Job
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a local church office operations in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and proficiency in administrative tasks, including Word and Canva. This is a part-time position working roughly 15 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and proof weekly worship bulletins and special service materials.
- Assist in planning for liturgical events and services.
- Help the Pastor with new member and confirmation classes.
- Assist with office tasks for the Clerk of Session and stewardship preparations.
- Contribute to the Annual Report.
- Serve as the front desk for visitors and manage phone and email inquiries.
- Maintain the church's contact information and update the website with events and announcements.
- Order office supplies and maintain organization.
- Coordinate repairs and accept deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Word; experience in an administrative role preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
