About the Job
Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for all functions relating to the maintenance and proper food preparation of the Kitchen at Atwater’s. You will also be required to ensure a positive company image by providing, “service that makes your day” to customers and staff members. We pride ourselves on our teamwork environment, and our expectation is all BOH team members float on all line, dish & prep stations.
Availability: Part-Time, 14 - 25 hrs/week. Mandatory Saturday/Sunday availability. Shift times: 7am - 3pm / 11am - 7pm
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Produce dishes and other Atwater’s menu items that are consistent with Atwater’s standards.
Prepare elements for dishes as necessary.
Monitor inventory of food and supplies.
Communicate inventory needs to supervisors.
Maintain a clean workspace and kitchen.
Follow and demonstrate proper health sanitation practices.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate a work ethic consistent with the Atwater’s team.
Qualifications:
Able to follow instructions and procedures.
Able to work independently.
Basic food knowledge.
Have or acquirea ServSafe certificate.
Stand and walk for anextend periods of time.
Bend and lift loads, not exceeding 50 pounds.
