Part Time Certified Medication Tech (CMT) -3rd Shift - Spring Arbor of Frederick

Spring Arbor Senior Living in Frederick, MD is seeking a part time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team in our memory care. Individuals are responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They help coordinate services for residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. At times, our med tech team members may be required to perform the duties of the Resident Assistant on an as needed basis. This position will work 3pm-11pm every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certification required
• CNA or PCA/DCS Certification is required
• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders.
• Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner.
• Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
