ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is a 501c3 nonprofit that delivers green upgrades to multifamily affordable housing (MFAH) properties to fight the affordable housing, climate change, and social equity crises. We motivate people to act, leading to results that foster local economic development, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. By 2025, we aim to serve 100,000 LMI households annually, reduce their utility costs by $270 Million and Carbon emission by 1.5 million tons, create 2,000 sustainable jobs, and invest over $100 Million in local communities.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Part-Time Contract Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting the best candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. A successful Contract Recruiter will collaborate with ICAST’s Department Managers and President on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs to ensure continuity of services. Our ideal recruiter should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, and hires the best staff, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- 4 or more years' proven experience with full-cycle recruiting
- Demonstratable ability to conduct interviews in various styles (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)
- Familiarity with HR databases (preferably Workable) and Applicant Tracking Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, able to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong analytical ability
- Familiarity with M365 (MS Office, Excel)
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Areas of Expertise: Sourcing, Screening, Recruiting
Compensation: $35/hr DOE
Engagement: 20 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of Job Descriptions as requested
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/publications/colleges etc.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
- Screen candidate resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using reliable recruiting and selection methodology to filter candidates
- Monitor and apply HR Recruiting best practices
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact for candidates during the selection process
