We are seeking a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.
Locations:
- 1901 South 24th Ave, Edinburg, TX 78539 (Located within Tropical Texas Healthcare Behavioral Center)
- 861 Old Alice Rd, STE 109, Brownsville, TX 78520 (Located within Tropical Texas Healthcare Behavioral Center)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Provides information to consumers about medications and their use.
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service. Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
- Travel up to 75%
- Float Pharmacist will cover pharmacist shifts during times of surrounding pharmacy site manager PTO.

Required Qualifications:
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
- Current pharmacist’s license in the state of Texas
- Certified immunizer of willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable Transportation
