Job Title: General Labor – Clothing Distribution

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our clothing distribution team. The General Laborer will be responsible for assisting with various warehouse tasks such as receiving, sorting, packing, and shipping clothing products. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform physical labor, and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Inventory: Unload clothing shipments from delivery trucks, inspect items for quality, and ensure they match packing slips.
• Sorting and Organizing: Sort clothing by size, style, and type; organize items in designated areas for easy retrieval.
• Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack customer orders, label boxes, and prepare them for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, assist with restocking, and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Quality Control: Inspect clothing for defects, damages, or inconsistencies before distribution.
• General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations and meet distribution deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to various temperatures.
• Full-time hours; may include overtime during busy seasons.
• Physical work involving lifting, standing, and bending.
