What we are looking for:
We are seeking a INTERN Part-Time Helpdesk Technician to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission and Vision by working directly with the Director of IT to provide IT support services to staff and internal clients. Keeps the computer systems operating efficiently and assures that computer standards are implemented and enforced. Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, and assists with project management research, implementation, and system administrative duties.
Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to install and configure software and hardware, manage data integrity/backups, set up accounts and workstations, troubleshoot issues, process helpdesk tickets, review of server logs, and under the direction of the Director Technology Services, provides IT support services to staff and internal clients. Keeps the computer systems operating efficiently and assures that computer standards are implemented and enforced. Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, and assists with project management research, implementation, and system administrative duties.
Qualifications
Experience with patch management
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Knowledgeable in Windows O/S and Microsoft Office.
Server operating systems, Exchange/Outlook, telecom support
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months to two years of similar or related experience
