About the role:
The part-time HR Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the People Team department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all areas of HR. This role will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, HR compliance, HR business partner responsibilities, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, service-oriented, and excited to play a key role in supporting our employees and fostering a positive workplace culture.
What you’ll do:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the coordination of the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and organizing orientation sessions.
- Ensure new hires have a positive onboarding experience by providing necessary resources and support.
- HR Administration:
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed to support management decision-making.
- Prepare documents and letters as needed.
- Employee Support Business Partnership:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Act as a liaison between the People Team and assigned departments, providing support on HR-related matters
- Assist in providing guidance and support to managers and employees, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company practices and policies, escalating issues when necessary
- Partner with managers to identify employee development needs and advise on plans
- HR Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining and upholding the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Support HR audits and compliance-related activities.
- General HR Support:
- Coordinate employee engagement activities in partnership with the Culture Committee
- Provide administrative support for various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Experience we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with HRIS or similar systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $38 to $42/hour
