About the Job
SRC, Inc.is currently seeking a Part-Time Leave/HR Administratorto support employees who are temporarily unable to work due to their own medical condition or personal circumstances, or to provide care to a family member. The Leave Administrator is a position requiring confidentiality, empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to legal compliance to provide the highest level of support to members of our workforce who are dealing with challenging personal situations. This position will educate employees on the benefits and legal protections available to them during a leave, guide them through the administrative process, and facilitate their full and productive return to work. Additionally, this role will support the administration of other employee benefit programs and HR projects.
This is a part-time role requiring work Monday through Friday on a mutually agreed upon fixed schedule. It is anticipated that the schedule will be 25 hours per week, but there is potential for some flexibility. This role can be performed on-site, hybrid, or fully remote, but the candidate should be able to report as needed to one of SRC's offices in one of the following locations: Syracuse, NY; Dayton, OH; San Antonio, TX; or Charlottesville, VA.
What You'll Do
Coordinate all aspects of an employee's leave of absence and return to work, including any restrictions and accommodations
Evaluate the federal, state, and/or local regulations that may apply to the employee's situation and ensure that SRC complies with all requirements
Administer the leaves according to SRC's policies and procedures
Coordinate and communicate with management, payroll, legal, HR, and external claim administrators as needed to ensure a smooth experience for all parties affected by the employee's absence
Maintain contact with the absent employee to provide appropriate level of support for their needs
Prepare and file required reporting
Additional support for employee benefits and HR on projects as needed
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field
Minimum 1 year experience in human resources, payroll, or employee benefit/leave administration
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams); Zoom
