Part-Time Med Tech/Resident Care Assistant-3pm-11pm - Spring Arbor Senior Living

Spring Arbor Senior Living in Apex, NC is seeking a part-time Med Tech/RA to join our team. Individuals are responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They help coordinate services for residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director.

Schedule: 2-3 days a week and every other weekend 3pm-11pm

• State-specific Medication Technician / Registered Medication Aide certification required (Candidates must possess to move forward in the process)
• In addition to Med Tech license, a CNA or PCA/DCS Certification is required
• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders.
• Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner.
• Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
