About the Job
Best Life Hearing Center located in Cheshire CT is seeking a part time Scheduling Coordinator to provide administrative office support services to people with hearing loss consistent with company policy. This position is an essential part of the practice, as it helps ensure the day-to-day administrative functions. This is a busy, fast-paced environment. Our practice is team-oriented and focused on providing excellent patient care. Hours are for 20 hours a week (flexible).
Qualifications:
- Responsible for coordination of all front office functions
- Contact patients to schedule and confirm appointments, assuring maximization of provider schedules.
- Carry out office administrative duties.
- Adhere to goals and policies established by the company.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written (friendly, outgoing, positive attitude)
- Basic understanding of the needs of the population being served.
- Ability to multitask and wear many hats is a must.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and a quick learner.
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail.
- Good patient interaction with contact regarding their insurance benefits and payment options
Skills And Experience:
- Preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical field in an administrative role, with knowledge of current insurance detail and functions.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
