Charge Nurse- 12 HR Night Shift

The  Charge Nurse position at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is responsible for overseeing the CNAs and CMTs in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. This position is ideal for someone who has sound clinical judgement, is a team player, and enjoys spending time with seniors!

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for nursing care of residents during assigned shift.
• Direct nursing care provided to all residents in accordance with State and Federal Regulation and administrative policies.
• Monitor and maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care/treatment provided in nursing notes.
• Maintain communication between nursing personnel.
• Counsel CNAs, NAs, CMTs, and Restorative Nursing Assistants, and recommend corrective action to Director of Clinical Services.
• Perform CMT duties as needed.
• Identify emergency situations and initiate appropriate procedures.
• Monitor and maintain narcotic records, psychotropic drug record, and other records as required.
• Complete all required clinical assessments in a timely manner.
• Follow established guidelines for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding residents and their personal information.

Salary: From $32.00 per hour

Experience:

• RN or LPN: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN or LPN (Required)
