Part Time Production Designer (contract) - (add)ventures

We’re searching for a part time (20 hours) contract Production designer to work collaboratively alongside our design team in our EPIC (East Providence Innovation Complex) serving as the final checkpoint in our design process to ensure our design work meets the highest standards of quality control and accessibility compliance. Qualified candidates will be deadline driven, be experienced in both CMYK and RGB color output and can talk the talk when it comes to specs for print and digital needs. The Production designer will be responsible for final file output of all creative assets while focusing on production tasks such as accessibility reviews, trademarking, color correction, stock imaging licensing and other technical considerations. The position demands the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple production projects concurrently. Experience in both print and digital is a must-have for this role. Working on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is required for this position to a max of 20 hours.

Qualified candidates will have:
 

• 3+ years’ experience as a production designer
• Expert knowledge across Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) is required
• Ability to learn Module Mapping for retail applications
• Acrobat, Sketch, Figma and Lightroom experience preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
• An exceptional and outstanding attention to detail
• Comfort and familiarity working in fast-paced environments
• Ability to learn working Accessibility laws and requirements
• An eye for design and typography skills related to production
