Responsibilities
Position Summary
Evaluates patients to determine whether their symptoms are the result of a physical illness, a combination of physicaland mental, or a strictly psychiatric one. Determine and lead treatment plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide psychopharmacological assessments and reviews as required.• Complete all required documentation.• Communicate effectively with other team members.• Communicate with parents about medication recommendations.• Participate in clinical rounds and other clinical meetings.• Provide psychiatric evaluations for new patients.• Fulfill on-call responsibilities (when applicable) to include but not limited to providing necessary orders, conducting physical assessments of youth when needed, providing consultation to nurses and/or program staff when needed.
• Maintains compliance with all required trainings, re-certifications, or licensing requirements/renewals.
