About the Job
The Receptionist will be responsible for receiving visitors at the front desk, answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls, and various administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct guests and visitors
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
• Open and distribute incoming mail
• Enter safety audits in system
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
• Miscellaneous administrative duties
Skills:
• Must possess an extremely outgoing, friendly disposition and professional demeanor at all times
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external
• Strong Word and Excel skills • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to multitask, have good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Education:
• High school diploma or GED
Work Hours: • 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday through Friday, except Holidays
• The ability to work additional hours to assist during other administrative staff’s time off a plus
