Part-Time School Bus Driver, CDL or Non-CDL - University Preparatory Academy

Rate of Pay: $28-$30/hour DOE

High School diploma or GED preferred

Clean driving record required

Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsements and Air Brake restriction removed preferred

Valid Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate required for CDL applicants

Experience working with kids preferred

School Bus (S) endorsement preferred

Experience as a commercial or school bus driver preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Good and safe driving skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrates flexibility, cooperation, energy, enthusiasm, and an understanding of a school environment

Flexibility, maturity and a sense of humor

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusivity 

Basic email and internet skills in order to use our online scheduling calendar and time card software

Ability to work some evenings and weekends

Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and on-going random tests as required per WA DOT regulations.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based on experience and ranges from $28-$30 per hour
