Part-time Security Guard - New Britain Museum of American Art

Security personnel are responsible for the critical oversight of the museum's art collection, grounds, staff, and visitors. This position requires cooperation and communication with the Manager and Assistant Manager of Facilities and Security to ensure proper floor coverage and safety procedures are implemented.

FSLA Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma Required
2. At least 1 year of Security Guard experience preferred.
3. CPR/First Aid Certification favorable, but not required.
4. Work schedule varies and employee must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
5. Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
6. All applicants are subject to criminal background check prior to employment.
